Refund policy

What you are paying for

There is no subscription and no monthly bill. You buy credit up front: €30 for 1 million characters. The credit sits on your account until you spend it, and it never expires.

The free plan costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund on it.

Credit you already used

Characters that were already turned into speech are not refunded. The audio was made and delivered, so that part of the purchase is finished.

Credit you have not used

Within 14 days of a purchase you can ask for the unused part of it back. This is the withdrawal right buyers have in the EU, and we give it to every customer.

We refund the characters that are still on your balance from that purchase, and we take those characters off the balance at the same time.

After 14 days

We do not refund a purchase once 14 days have passed. Nothing is lost by waiting: credit never expires, so it is still there whenever you come back to it.

How to ask for a refund

Write to info@joulyan.com from the email address on the account and say which purchase you mean. We answer by email.

How the money comes back

Refunds go through Stripe, back to the card or the payment method you paid with. We cannot send it anywhere else.
